Mycronic'sfirst upgrade order for display-mask writers to solid-state lasers is an essentialmilestone in reducing the company's climate impact over a product's life cycle.
Inconnection with the first upgrade order for display-mask writers from SKElectronics in Japan, the gas laser is replaced with a solid-state laser, whichreduces energy consumption by approximately 99 per cent. The upgrades will takeplace over two years.
