For Bure, responsibility and sound governance are the foundation of long-term value creation. We therefore work actively to ensure that all our portfolio companies operate with high business ethics, transparency and integrity, and that sustainability is embedded in strategy, governance, culture and decision-making.
We apply a zero-tolerance approach to corruption and unethical conduct and set clear expectations that our companies operate systematically with risk management, compliance and information security. At the same time we ensure that sustainability is not a side issue, but is integrated into decisions, reporting and governance at every level. We support our companies in developing robust governance systems, policies and cultures that foster transparency and accountability throughout the organization.
Through clear expectations and common guidelines we aim to ensure that sustainability is embedded in both strategy and daily operations. We believe that responsible business practices build trust, mitigate risks and create long-term value for companies, society and our investors.
We want sustainability work in portfolio companies to be structured, ambitious and aligned with Bure’s overall policy. Therefore we have established the following targets:
Strong business ethics are fundamental to building trust internally, with customers and with investors. Our targets include:
By working systematically with sustainability governance and ethical principles we strengthen both the resilience and growth potential of our companies in a way that stands the test of time.
